Kocaeli Defense Industry and Trade Inc. was established on March 28, 2019 and its aim is to develop together with our entire industry and to ensure that it reaches the levels of productivity and technological maturity that can integrate with defense, aviation and space industries. KSS has a total of 64 partners. It consists of 2 chambers, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and Kocaeli Chamber of Certified Public Accountants, 50 companies and 12 individual partnerships. KSS's possibilities and capabilities are not limited to its partners but include a greater capability that emerges as a result of the synergy of this partnership.
KSS MOGPS 4200 series; is a compact, lightweight, highly accurate meteorological observation and global positioning system. It is specially designed for use in tracked (MTB) or wheeled (APC) military vehicles and all types of military ships. It measures wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, ambient air temperature, relative humidity, geographical direction with electronic compass and global position position. Optionally, it is possible to add a temperature sensor to measure ammunition box temperature or ground temperature (TEMPERATURE DETECTION SENSOR (SAS) 4210). The collected information is transmitted in a data packet every 100 milliseconds via the communication interface at a rate of 9600 baud.
The Temperature Sensing Sensor (SAS) 4210 is an additional temperature sensor compatible with all Meteorological Observation and Global Positioning System (MGKS) 4200 stations. The main function of the SAS 4210 is to transmit a digital signal from a second temperature source. The SAS 4210 can operate as an ammunition storage room temperature sensor for MBTs and as a ground temperature sensor for NBC or CBRN vehicles. Its compact and monobloc aluminum construction makes it particularly robust. The SAS 4210 sensor can withstand the harshest environments.
